The Taxa Mantis Overland can take you and your family to places that you wouldn’t have thought possible before. With a highly capable axle-less suspension, compact design, and two large beds, the whole family can enjoy the beautiful outdoors together.

The Taxa Mantis Overland 5.2 is one of my all time favorite camping trailers for a family of 4! Or even 5 with a hammock! Whether you need a little more space for the family, pets or adventure toys, Mantis is the outdoor habitat for you. Thoughtful design around the choreography of life in a small space led to features like a separate sink and two-burner stove, water heater, 20-gallon fresh water capacity, and wet bath with cassette toilet. With Mantis, you can hitch up and ditch the everyday in style and go-anywhere durability.

With an all new front Flex Space, the Mantis 5.2 offers an area with creates a work/play table that adjusts to be a standing desk, a counter extension, or a bedside table. You may also convert the bed to a dinette, drop the bunk system into a couch and create room for the whole family (and then some!)

The Taxa Mantis is a rugged 19-foot-long habitat that comfortably sleeps 4 adults, and can be stored in most 7’ garages. Designed with the perfect blend of durable construction and lightweight materials, TAXA habitats are some of the lightest towable campers on the market for their size, capacity and features.

Work Away From Home

With an all new front Flex Space, the Mantis 5.2 offers an area with creates a work/play table that adjusts to be a standing desk, a counter extension, or a bedside table.

Convert the bed to a dinette, drop the bunk system into a couch and create room for the whole family (and then some!) to kick back when the weather calls for indoor time.

Stay Cool

Enhanced cooling performance in the Taxa Mantis with an 8,000 BTU Air Conditioner on a lockable sliding base with a hinged exterior cover. By thoughtfully positioning the AC unit, Taxa was able to increase the BTU allowing for fresh air to circulate throughout your habitat.
